MANÍ FASHIONED
A nutty, shaken take on this spirit-forward classic.
INGREDIENTS:
3 oz MANÍBALL
2 sugar cubes (or 0.5 oz simple syrup)
4 dashes Angostura bitters
1 tsp water (if using sugar cubes)
Ice
Orange peel (for garnish)
MUDDLE: Place the sugar cubes in a cocktail shaker. Add the bitters and a dash of water, then muddle until the sugar is completely dissolved. If using simple syrup, skip this step and just add the syrup and bitters to the shaker.
SHAKE: Add the MANÍBALL and a few ice cubes to the shaker. Seal the shaker and shake vigorously until well-chilled.
POUR: Fill a rocks glass with a large ice cube or fresh ice cubes. Strain the contents of the shaker into the glass.
GARNISH: Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink by twisting it, then drop the peel into the glass.
